Okay, so I am in the boat that it appears many users here on blackberryforums.com are in or have been in. I am trying to configure my WAP settings for my blackberry 7290 on Cingular (and trying to get ramble IM to work).

So far, I have had absolutely no luck. I am getting the famous "invalid connection string - could not open tunnel" error. I have tried just about every combination of APN settings and port settings that I have seen here on bbforums (read through every thread numerous times).

I contacted a cingular support agent to have these WIX lines added to my account and he said that to do that I need to select one of the additional "data connect" plans, in ADDITION to my BB unlimited!? I was expecting to hear this from him and sure enough I did. And its absolutely ridiculous.

Has anyone else on Cingular gotten there 7290 to work with ramble? Please help!! Thanks!
