I'm now a blackberry curve owner after my trusty treo 650 broke and none of the new treos are up to its par. One thing I'm trying to find is an application that can control the keyboard lights like I had in my treo, so I can turn it on or off rather than the blackberry controlling the keyboard lights with the auto dim. it's fine for the screen but I would prefer to keep the keyboard lights off until I really need it then i'd turn it on. This also helps with controlling battery life. Is there a such application out there? I tried searching but dont seem to find anything. The closest best thing was BBlights but it's for the screen only...

Im intersted in this too. I also came from a treo 700 and had the same app. to turn off the keyboard light. I realize the BB does a pretty good job of keeping the keyboard light off during the day. When im at work the light is minimal and turns the KB lights on. This is when id like to turn them off and save on battery.
