  • Mark errors or allow them for expert players.
  • Hints for when you get stuck.
  • Change the background to any photo.

Looks like great and easy to use... Thanks I will try it out!

I hope it finally replaces my old SK2 sudoku... That was the only thing I loved on sidekick 2...

I love it!! It works very well and smooth.

And unlike some games, I can quickly check emails and stuff while in game by convenience button. I hate how magmic games hog the screen so I have to exit game in order to look on whats new.

Want sudoku game? Get this one... I'm serious.

What's funny is that I understand Sudoku, but I could never understand kakuro...

Hi.

Kakuro can be a bit tricker than Sudoku but it is quite rewarding once you get going. Sudoku is all about permutations whereas Kakuro is all about combinations. You complete Kakuro in the same way as a crossword, but you have to make each vertical and horizontal group add up to the clue, without repeating any digits. SwooshKakuro makes it a bit easier if you leave "Auto Notes" and "Dynamic Clues" on (which I certainly do). It is helpful to think of each clue in terms of the number of squares that represent it. Say for example the clue was 5 and it had to fit in 2 squares, then you need to think "5 in 2", which can only be:
1, 4
4, 1
2, 3
3, 2

Here is a list of all the valid combinations for different length clues:

Pairs:
3: 1,2;
4: 1,3;
5: 1,4; 2,3;
6: 1,5; 2,4;
7: 1,6; 2,5; 3,4;
8: 1,7; 2,6; 3,5;
9: 1,8; 2,7; 3,6; 4,5;
10: 1,9; 2,8; 3,7; 4,6;
11: 2,9; 3,8; 4,7; 5,6;
12: 3,9; 4,8; 5,7;
13: 4,9; 5,8; 6,7;
14: 5,9; 6,8;
15: 6,9; 7,8;
16: 7,9;
17: 8,9;

Triplets:
6: 1,2,3;
7: 1,2,4;
8: 1,2,5; 1,3,4;
9: 1,2,6; 1,3,5; 2,3,4;
10: 1,2,7; 1,3,6; 1,4,5; 2,3,5;
11: 1,2,8; 1,3,7; 1,4,6; 2,3,6; 2,4,5;
12: 1,2,9; 1,3,8; 1,4,7; 1,5,6; 2,3,7; 2,4,6; 3,4,5;
