Hi,

I am getting a null error when trying to log into my jivetalk account. I have upgraded the OS, installed docs to go, uninstalled and reinstalled the jivetalk software. I can get past the first screen but when I try to log in it gives me something that looks like: !null and an ok button below it. Can someone please help with this? I paid good money for this software.

P.S. The error first occurred before any upgrades or installs

I am having the error today. It is working now for me.

Do a shutdown and login one acct at a time.

I've seen that a few times since upgrading to 4.5. I've always been able to get logged in, though, if I try a few times.

I had this error on 4.2 the past couple of days, it appears to be fine now.

I still find the program to be a bit of a battery hog but this is a topic for another thread.

It appears this only happens for my Windows Live account (which is the only one I use). I have sent emails to support but with no reply. It's going on 4 days now.... pathetic.

There has been a fix for the null error:

There was indeed a small change in the msn protocol with some msn servers. We just resolved it on our end and pushed a build to one of our debug servers. Please connect to this server meanwhile until our production servers get this fix.
To connect to our debug server,
Start Beejive IM, go to menu->preferences and at the very bottom under advanced connection parameters, type the following as it appears below
url=http://appsrv6.beejive.com
If you already have parameters, delimit the parameters by a "|" (pipe). for example if you have direct=socket under connection parameters, after adding the url parameter, the advanced connection parameters should look like this
direct=socket|url=http://appsrv6.beejive.com. If you have DEFAULT, you can remove it and just type url=http://appsrv6.beejive.com. Thank You so much for helping us resolve this issue.
