Default Get Rid of the Camera Sound, finally. (GSM only) - 06-26-2008, 07:00 PM

Crackberry has posted a new program that will mute the sound of the shutter when you take a picture all for $3.95!

A lot of people have asked for this and here it is for most of them. The program may or may not work with CDMA, it shows incompatible.

So beware unsuspecting picture victims! You may be caught by a BlackBerry.

Do you know the author (of the program)?

Zaventh Ventures is the Author.

Some say that it just lowers the volume really low, but it is posted as eliminating it.

Hope this helps.

Sounds like the same person that approached me on beta testing. Got it very low but was still working on total mute.

Thanks!

Great. Now we can eliminate the sound, but with 4.5, can't see anything.

Thats why you use a real camera and not a phone.

But a phone is very convenient sometimes and as a proud parent you want to show the baby off and see a picture of them when you are at work or on the road just to have a happy memory..

Junior I understand that I use sync toy to keep all my photos and music in sync on my pc and Bb I only snap a picture with my BB when its just a spur of the moment thing. I never use it for anything important like my kids. Too many variables that could go wrong and i loose it.

The reason I hate the sound is simply because it says "Hey look over here! He's taking a picture!" I'm not taking pictures of anything I'm not supposed to but I still hate the sound. It's the reason I turned off the extra shutter sound on my real camera.
