I have spent all day reading these threads trying to get a solution to start the Ramble IM.

Downloading was a cinch...cannot get the darn thing started...same response everytime as already listed

"Invalid Connection String, could not open tunnel failed"....or after I played around with it, I get the other message of "......null connection"....

My eyeballs are tired, I have tried everything in everywhich a way....as stated in the threads I have read, to no avail.....

i gave up.. 7290 on bes 4.0 it policy errors, no way around it and firewall every single tcp setting and port setting no luck..

Did you put the wap.voicestream.com in the TCP settings? Then make sure SRA is set to device default...

Yes, I finally figured it out....

After making sure a million times I spelled wap.voicestream.com correctly,

I then transpose the port # from 1290, as stated in the configure to 9201.

And like magic it worked !

Doesn't matter anyway, a few days later, I could not log in......which I have read was an issue....so I buckled down and purchased Verichat.....

Which works fine now !
