Does anyone have the new Beta files for Vlingo so I can install it with the desktop manager.

It is a jad file install, over the air to the BB directly, try the link from your BB.

Still, I can download it here on my PC, fine. So the link works.

Don't have the net on my BB. Trying to do it on my PC and I'm getting an error message

what would you do with Vlingo if you don't have access to a dataline on your Blackberry. The application needs a connection for its transcription.

he would likely use it for non-data applications: SMS texting, the calendar, phone calls. There are many.
