Default Auto SMS reply (like Away message?) - 07-02-2008, 10:56 AM

is there any application that you can set up to auto reply to text messages and calls with a text saying custom text?

basically, say i go to the gym. my parents are freaks about calling me all the time. if i leave my phone inthe locker, i usually have like 12 missed calls and texts from them. is there a program that will reply to the number that called me and any number that i get a text from with any message i choose? like an AIM away mmessage.

sorry if its hard to understand, its kinda hard to explain

Yes, there is. Have a look at this application, reviewed here:

Edit: that's for SMS and e-mails. For calls, I'd say that's what you change your voicemail message for...

I think that's more than reasonable for an application that does what you want it to do, don't you? Somebody put the time into the development... perhaps he needs a few bucks to send his wife shopping while he codes...

Treat your password like your toothbrush. Don't let anybody else use it, and get a new one every six months.
