Got my 8820 with Wifi working, installed Gmail Apps from here: m.google.com/mail
and Google Maps from here: m.google.com/maps

I have a dataplan (ordinary EDGE/GPRS/Wifi) with my carrier, but Gmail Apps and Google Maps do not run :(

I can login into my Gmail Apps, but it says: 0 kb loaded and just hangs there. The Google Maps application just hangs at 10%.

Anyone else with these problems? Does Gmail Apps and Google Maps require a BIS or BES dataplan? Will they not just work with ordinary Wifi or EDGE?

BTW: How do I remove those Google Applications?

Try going options>Advanced>Applications. Highlight the app. You can delete from there, or first try from the menu key, Edit Permisions. Set all of them to allow. If you are on a corp BB, your IT policy may not let you. If not changing these should work. Also when under permissions, go to reset firewall prompts just in case you set them to no at some point.

Nothing works :( It just hangs at "0KB" :(

You have all the permissions set to allow?
