Is there a way to configure BBlight so that when you remove the 7520 from the holster that the light comes on at it's highest level rather than the lowest?

Unhappy BBLight-less.... - 08-21-2005, 02:26 AM

I can't get the thing to stay on at all. I have played with the settings, and the light still goes off. Anyone else have this problem?

I have checked the option to turn on when it is plugged into external power and when it's out of the holster. I have activated it and it shows active. Still nothing...

Matt

Yes I can set it to 2 mins max through the standard bb settings, the bblight settings do not work for me except the user activity

Cool Aftermarket Program. - 08-21-2005, 01:02 PM

Nick,

BBLight is a add-on program for the BB that allows you to 'force' the backlight on the BB to stay on. It has many features such as when you take it out of the holster, on user activity, to come on at a certain time of day, etc.

However it seems that this program will not work with the new OS on the 7520. From what I have found out (Using the search feature on the forum, I know DAWG) they are supposedly working this out for a new release of BBLight.

Hope that helps, Nick.

Dawg,

Just on many of your posts that I have looked at over the forum, you refer to people not searching for topics prior to them posting a question.

So I posted a reply about my BBLight not working, then I searched on it and found out that a previous post, by you, was saying that it probably is the OS that is not allowing the program to work correctly.

So I figured I would beat you to the punch about me searching first.

Matt
