Not that I know of, although I suspect that you could use IdeaMatrix as an equivalent product that allows substantial input of free-form text.

I actually have and use IdeaMatrix, but I'm also going to give you a free suggestion:

email your journal entries to yourself.

An excellent suggestion. Also, if the journal entries are not too long, what is wrong with the Notes application?
