Default IT guys: BB friendly support ticket system - 07-12-2008, 03:30 PM

Currently i use osTicket for my company to handle customer support tickets. I can set it up so that i get emails, emails can be recieved on the BB this i know. What i am wondering is if there is a trouble ticketing system currently available that also comes with software for the BB for handling the tickets?

If so, can anyone reccomend one to me? I want to be able to have the tickets come right to the phone, handle them, and move on with life.

Thanks in advance!

Is there a generic email address that the software can send email to ?? If yes add your self to that generic email and it will forward the messages to the device.

That is the Software that is used to generate tickets for blackberry for your org should have that capability for example Remedy

Appreciate the reply, but i know that ^

I'm looking for a more integrated solution. Basically a system for tickets or a software for the BB that allows seamless use of the ticket system on the BB just like i was at the computer. I can get alters and surf to the desk now, i would like to have a software on the phone that has its own interface for my helpdesk.

osTicket doesnt have this available, but i thought there may be another that does. osT doesnt even have a wap access.

My company used Flowfinity - Wireless Applications for Business Flow, On-the-Go for workorders/trouble tickets for our field techs, it worked great, and is very simple.
The simplicity part was important to us, as we are not a large company with a big IT dept. Our CSR managers can generate and change forms themselves, it's that easy.

If you need something more robust check out Business Intelligence and Database Management Software Systems Including Data Warehousing - Sybase Inc

Hope this helps, good luck with your search.
