Has anyone tried this?

What is the deal with it? Does it work like Ramble?

Thanks.

it uses SMS not GPRS for messaging, so expect some potentially high bills if you chat a lot, unless you have an unlimited SMS plan (which they no longer offer, i don't believe)

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.

If this is the same application that comes pre-installed on the 7100t, it is garbage. Takes forever to get or receive an IM. The lag is so bad that you can't have a normal conversation with anyone.

Note: The Instant Messaging application for the RIM 7290 will not work properly if loaded onto other RIM devices.

On my 7230 it filled up my sim card with messages. When I removed it, it cleared them up.
