I'm trying to install IM+ using the desktop Mgr and I'm recieveing an error messege that says No System Software found on you handheld and No additional apps designed for your handheld found! What am I doing wrong??

You need to install the handheld operating system for your BlackBerry, and then you can install third party applications like IM+. Check on your carrier's web site for the handheld OS and install that.

I did that. My 7290 is running 4.0 I used the disc that came with it. I also uninstalled that and re-installed the 4.0 version off of BB's sight. Still same prob! Could it be defective??
