Default BBToday & BBWeather Problems.. - 08-21-2005, 02:15 PM

Ok I have BBtoday and BBweather loaded on my bb 7290 from cingular with unlimited data plan...

When i have bbtoday open, it doesnt allow me to view stocks nor the weather it gives me the error could not open tunnel - failed.

Also in bbweather, it says Error: Could not find a service book entry for IPPP..

any ideas on what to do? Thanks a million!

Go to your BWC and under options resend yourself the service book.

I have the same problem however Berry 411 will give you all kinds of great info and fast try it out instead. Also has weather.

Did both... still get the tunnel error.
In Options/TCP/ my APN is isp.cingular
I see references to changing this but usually with other then Cingular service. What would be the correct APN for Cingular? Blackberry.net? Or am I in left field here?

Make sure your entering the data correctly. I know when I did it I had to put in my 5 digit zip code and take out the US that they auotmatically put in the slot.

The stocks have to be seperated by a space and the stock indexes have a ^ before each of them to indicaye it is a index,
