Gmail and Google Calendar to Add Offline Support

What exactly does that mean for us BlackBerry users. Will our BB address books now sync with our on-line GMail?

Google seems to be focusing a lot of the iPhone :( . I wouldn't mind full IMAP with my 2 Gmail accounts like I have with my Yahoo email.
I do suppose this is a step in the right direction.

I wonder if Google's long term goal is create a "synch suite" that will synchronize everything with our hand helds (BlackBerries) to their web mail. I mean they got the calendar and soon to be contacts, all they need now is our memo pad and tasks. Time will tell I suppose.

Sweet baby Jesus, I can't wait for SyncML for my Contacts and Calendar. Great news! If only they could find some way to support Notes (Memopad) and Tasks we would be set.

Post any new news as you hear it, this is exciting.

Try Remember The Milk for your tasks. It embeds in your Google Calendar. See the following link to add to your GoogleCalendar, I found this a few days ago: Remember The Milk - Services / Remember The Milk for Google Calendar
