Berryvine not working -

Alright so i just got a 7250 from TELUS MOBILITY and i am trying to get Berryvine up and running on the device. I downloaded the trial and loaded it into the device. When i go to connect it says that a connection cannot be established. I read up a bit on this and i found out its probably due to something about a tcp/ip. When i was reading the web someone said to go into options then tcp however this isnt available in the menu. Any help would be appreciated. Also if it would be easier to use a different program then that fine with me.
