Looks like the server is talk.google.com on port 5222 or 5223. I'm pretty new to BB software so let me know if there's anthing already available that lets you enter info for any Jabber server. I'm going to do some xperementing.
I talked to IM+ shapeservices support and the new version will probably support gmail.. I wasn't able to connect with the IM+ jabber client to the google talk network. If anyone did have succes please contact me at

Set up jabber service as :
user : your user id , sample
password : ******* - your password
host : talk.google.com
port : 5223 ( !!! )
and now you can use Google talk in your IM+ for BB

I am able to log in now, my only problem is that I can not see who is online and offline. I do have contact loaded in Google. Still can't see them on my bb through IM+
