Default X-Player vs Moodio internet radio in car

Please Login to Remove!

For those that don't know Moodio uses the Blackberry media Player. The advantage to Moodio is that you can get any kind of stream.
XPlayer is the new one from Shape services.

I noticed that for some reason when I drive in the car and listening to a station via Moodio it will play well for 10-15 mins but then I totally lose internet connection on my phone for like 5 mins or so. (I can't get the station again or web browse) When I use another player "x-player" I do the same trip no issues.. What do you think is happening?

I have used both for a minimum of 20 hours each (travel a lot), and I have had unpredictable results from both, but XPlayer was nearly unusable. Moodio has a 60% success rate for me, which is better than most people.

I have never had a loss of internet connection when using XPlayer, just constant loss of audio.

Yea Xplayer seems to handle well when traveling. It's puzzling with the other player why I lose internet connection for a few mins after it plays for 10-15 min. It take a few min for my phone to recover the internet connection.
It's strange the the same trip with Xplayer no issues. And its consistant with anywhere I go Blackberry media player will work for few min than I lose internet as discribed.
