Question Map/Directions software - 08-26-2005, 04:32 AM

Hi guys,

I'm looking for an app for my BlackBerry and rather than picking one and biting the bullet (which will no doubt explode between my teeth) I thought I'd seek the wisdom of my BlackBerry peers!!!!

I want to to get some sort of directions/mapping software on my BB 7100v. I'm not talking GPS here (if that were the case it would be Tom Tom all the way) but just something I can get general directions and even just basic maps through. I've done some research but the problem is all of the apps that look half decent are all "search any address in North America" which doesn't help when you live in London!!!! I've toyed with the directions and mapping on Berry411 which was tedious (but then it's also free so you can't complain). Anybody got any solid recommendations on anything they've used???

Cheers!!

I've given this a go today but it doesn't seem to work on my 7100v. I can load the homepage but the 'Maps' and 'Directions' links don't appear on my BlackBerry browser which is odd!!

Make sure under options that javascript is enabled. Most of the sites require this to function.

On the 7100t its under browser, options, then browser config.

I thought of that after I put the last post up but everything checks out. I don't know why it won't work. Back to the drawing board I guess!!!
