| PocketInformant App permission issue Please Login to Remove! Whenever I FIRST open the PI program I get “p.4.2 is requesting changes to its application control permissions.”
Once I press “view” I’m taken to the Permissions: pocketinformant_app.4.2.
What I hadn’t noticed until now is that the particular screen I’m taken to relates only to “Connections” (which is set to Allow) and “Phone” (which is set to prompt). Compare this limited screen to what’s visible when you go to options/security/app permissions/PI – many more connections etc.
So, clearly there is one particular connection that’s at issue here. Moreover, the settings are identical to those of other 3rd party programs I have installed, which of course are presenting no problems. My IT person doesn’t seem to think they (that is the server) have anything to do with this issue since it’s just this one program and one particular permission that’s at issue.
Anyone have any input?
Again, thanks |
