Default Something I Can Use While On WW... - 08-27-2008, 09:14 PM

I'm doing Weight Watchers and am looking to keep track of my daily diet and point. I know there's a program for Palm OS, but they don't offer anything for BB. I'm hoping to find a piece of software I could keep track with. Or if someone is interested in designing something......

Unfortunately, I don't recall the link but there is a points calculator for the BB although it seems to round downward when fractional points are involved. I don't know of an actual tracker program. If you search either here or (ahem, crackberry forum) for Weight Watcher or maybe just "weight" you may find the link.

WW works so good luck

Default Mobile Weight Watchers - 08-31-2008, 04:53 PM

WW now has a mobile web site where you can calculate and track your food and activity points. It is set up to work with iPhone, BB, and WM devices. I have been using it and it is really nice. You are actually accessing the Planner on the web site so all entries are immediately updated. It has some limitations, but it is wonderful to be able to track again without carrying a second device in order to access the WW On-The-Go application. IMHO, this is a much better way to track. It is free to eTool subscriber but you will have to have a data plan.

Just type http://m.weightwatchers.com or http://mobile.weightwatchers.com. Be sure to take out or omit the www. Some users are having success with the longer address and some with the shorter.

How about something for people who are no longer subscribing to WW? Anyone have an app?

yeah, I wish you could just buy some software from them. Who has the money to make monthly payments like that? Not me, but I would still love to be able to track my points. Please let me know if someone comes across something. Oh, I found a website for someone who had a version for Palm and claimed to be creating one for Blackberry. But when I e-mailed him, he said he wasn't making it a priority right now. Maybe if you e-mail him too, he'll get creating one. Search Pointviewer by Thinkwhere. He has an email on there. Really wish we could convience him he has enough interest to create it.....
