| You might want to put a disclaimer and let people know about the notification icon still showing...some might say something about it | | Offline

| I think you could always take out the sms icon out of the message indicators but that would have to be a whole other theme made just to do that | | Offline

| It is funny that you mention that because, when I was first using that, I did make a theme where I removed the SMS notifications. It did seem to work out. | | Offline

| Yea I thought about doing that but that would be a big thing to do for each and every theme and just depends on the person that would want to do it. Wouldn't be hard cause you can just make that spot where the sms icon is empty and the rest showing but still some theme makers might not want to do that | | Offline

| Exactly. And you still have to go in to the regular SMS app and mark the messages as read. Oh well, maybe one day it will work as I have dreamed... | | Offline

| I agree with the people above. A bug was pointed out while the app was in beta, releasing it with a known bug is kind of... Not nice... lol...
I think you should fix that, or at the very least put a disclaimer on it... | | Offline

I think you should fix that, or at the very least put a disclaimer on it... | Actually not a bug. RIM does not supply a mechanism to remove it. The program does have a trial version, and a refund is available to those for whom this is an issue. | | Offline

| This program doesnt play well with BBalerts - which is the deal breaker for me. I love BBAlerts cuz I always know if its a SMS, Email by the color of the LED alert. Then with the purple notification I have Jivetalk set as, I cant go back to just plain red for any/all alerts. | | Offline

Removes all messages. | | Offline

I think you should fix that, or at the very least put a disclaimer on it... | As wcsbb has already said, it's not a bug. Currently, no 3rd party application (including those such as Pocket Day) can mark SMS messages as read so that the notification can be removed.
Don't ask me why it can be done with emails but not SMS, but you can blame RIM, not 3rd party developers/authors.

| Quick question,
I bought your app, and am running it on my 8830 v 4.2.2.148. I read on the handango that this had been tested on v4.2
Anyways, I am just testing it right now by attempting to send myself a text. However, the program says that the first person in my address book is sending the text. Is there any way to rectify this problem? | | Offline

| downloaded the app , my concern
is once my blackberry is locked and i receive a text mess , as i put in my password and it accepts , and the screen says please wait (usually 1-2 sec +,-) the app seems to make my blackberry take an extra 15-20 ++
seconds to finally get to the home screen . any ideas , when i don't have a text mess its almost instantly opens up. | | Offline

| Hey wcsbb,
A further addition to my problem above. Any text message I receive from comes up as being sent from the first name in my address book instead of the correct sender. For example, if Dan Abrams was the first name in my address book, he comes up as the sender of all the text messages I receive, instead of the correct name. On the BB SMS program it names the correct sender.
Have any ideas on what I can do to fix this?
