Hello peeps!!

I was wondering if there is anyone out there in canada that is using something like "youmail" for visual voicemail. "Youmail" doesn't work for canadian providers but if there another company out there that is available?

I know there is spin vox but they are not free. They do work very well though.

yea spinvox is 10 a month and is only for 40 msgs, after that its .45 cents a msg

theres also phonetag, but they are 30 dollars a month...

might as well keep my regular voicemail... :(

so i kinda did some investigating...

and if you are with Rogers you can get SpinVox for 6 dollars a month added onto your account and its unlimited voicemail to text... cheaper then there regular price... i think its a good deal...

I'm trying it out right now and i'll report back, but so far its been right on the money with the voice to text translation...

I have the free Spin Vox Plan because I was one of the first to try it and it works great, I just like all the other stuff You Mail does. But it does transcribe very well.

yea i wanted youmail for all the features but until they get service here i'm using spinvox

For the transcription purpose I think Spin Vox works the best right now any way.

Telus uses rebranded Spinvox and charges $7.50/month for unlimited.

my experience with spinvox is.. they have never gotten a voicemail i got correctly. Found the whole thing kinda annoying
