And so what are the new fetures and why is it better or worse than BBWeather?

I don't know there isn't any change log with it. And in my opinion I can't say if it is better or worse, just different. Just letting people know.

It still lacks the abundance of city choices

Thumbs up

I've had this on my BB for about two weeks or so...the change must be with the network configuration. I deleted the other version some time ago because of unable to connect to network failures...this version has been much better! I am glad cuz I really like this weather feature on my home screen!...

I can't remember if this was in the last version(I have not had it on mine for a good while now) but this one has a setting to set to check every 30 mins, every hour,2 hours and 4 hours.

If home screen is main issue.

Check this.

Interesting that on my Bold, this app went straight to my Download folder.... and I could NOT move it to the home folder. In fact, I couldn't move it at ALL. The new WeatherEye gave me the same functionality but I could move it into the home folder and position it so the "L" theme could put it where I wanted it.

My problem with WeatherEye is it doesn't seem to update the icon as often as I have set in the config. I have it set for 30 mins right now. As I type this at 6:30am, the icon on the screen says 82. Yet clicking on the the icon sends me to the site for current conditions where that reads 56. Now I KNOW we did not drop 20+ degrees in the last 30 minutes. Obviously something is not updating. I checked the network config and it went fine.

So something isn't right. And there doesn't seem to be any features for trouble shooting it.
