Default Accuweather Web Signals not working

Please Login to Remove!

Tried to subscribe to Accuweather web signals two days ago. Shortly after subscribing, my profile settings for my active profile defaulted back to their original defaults. I have still not received an Accuweather icon.

I have tried all of the following:
* Turn off/turn on
* Pull battery and reboot
* Resend service books
* Re-subscribe to the web signal - but now it tells me to accept the Terms and Conditions, but when I do, it gives me the web page for if I had hit "I don't accept". There is no way around it.
* I even reloaded the OS today.

Nothing. I can't seem to re-subscribe and I have no push anything. I looked in my browser and I don't see anything for Accuweather. There is nothing in the application list. Yet somehow on RIM's web site, it will no longer let me accept the Ts & Cs.

Anyone have any ideas?

Verizon 8830
OS 4.2.2.196

Thanks!

Same thing here. I was going to try it from my PC later and see if that makes a difference. I'll let you know if it does.

I got it to work on my first try, but all it seems to do is add an icon with the high and low temps as well as the atmospheric conditions (i.e sunny or cloudy).

No significant additional data is "pushed". When you click on the icon it opens up the web browser and goes to the accuweather site with your city's information.

I guess its an OK program if you just want the hi and low temps pushed to the BB, but if you want more in depth data, there's really nothing that sets it apart from other weather programs.

Not working here either. Fox News Alert works great; icon turns red if there is a new alert.

You can click on any day and it will give you more info.

Same here. Seems to be a widespread problem.

My point is that when you click on the icon it simply opens up the web browser. The only difference between this program and other sites on the internet is that this one has an icon on the BB home screen that tells you the high and low for the day when you move the cursor over it. To get any further detailed analysis it just simply directs you to the website.

Maybe I don't fully understand the definition of "push", but what I was hoping for is something more along the lines of Viigo, where you can click on a headline and more information is displayed without having to load the web browser.

I had exactly the same issue here. I sent an email to Accuweather but I have not yet received a response (24hrs).

Have you tried PocketDay yet? It has a pretty good weather app build in. Data is updated every hour and everything is fully customizable.

I gave up on it about 5 miles back. I'll stick with BBWeather.

When you click on the icon on your home screen it will open up to your favorite or saved page. At the lower right side of the page you will see cancel, click on it on it will unsubscribe you and the icon will dissapear.

I subscribed and had the icon on my desktop in approx 2 hrs. The weather icon is kinda of anemic on the Bold. Anyone have a weather app that does the same thing but has a Bold-style icon?

Any other recommended weather apps?

Thanks
