Default Block Senders On Blackberry - Looking for beta testers - 11-07-2008, 01:09 PM

Our company has an anti-spam solution, but I wanted to be able to add senders to the Outlook blocked senders list right from my Blackberry. I also wanted my Blackberry to delete emails from junk senders if those emails arrived on my Blackberry first.

I developed the MailOverload app to address this.

Thanks for your feedback!

Interesting. Do we just go to the site to download it?

What if I accidently block a co-worker (truthfully this may not be accidental, but let's pretend it was)? Can I unblock them from the BB, or do I have to do that in Outlook?

What is the pricing for the product? Your FAQ dodges the question:
Q. How much does MailOverload cost?

A. MailOverload is free to try. Simply download MailOverload for Outlook or Blackberry. After a set number of uses, MailOverload will prompt you to pay for the program. You may purchase a license on the Purchase page.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

I assume that I have to upload a handheld block to sender to the server. When I attempt to upload or download, I get an error

Thanks for the replies and for the time to test out the app.

To answer the questions:

I was planning to charge $20 for registration - e.g. put in a simply reminder message after so many days and then users could register to support development.

Regarding upload to server - sorry for not explaining that. In the beta version, you have to first go to the site and create an account by clicking on "My Settings" at the top of the web site.

Then once you do that, on the BB client, when you do the Upload to server, enter that same email and password (this is not your actual email account password, just the account you setup on the site), and your list will be uploaded.

In the final version, it'll create an account on the server directly from the BB app. Again sorry for not explaining that.

Thanks for any thoughts, feedback, and questions.

Meant to add, you can un-block from the BB app or from the Outlook plug in by going to the app settings and removing the accidentally blocked sender from the block list.

Can you give me a little more detail? When do you get that error?
