Security is fundamental to everything we do in ExSafe and has been our primary distinguishing feature compared to other companies in the management of EUCs, end user computing files Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Moving our application to the cloud has not compromised this in anyway as we offer end to end encryption based on 128 bit AES with multiple 'locks' to gain access to the service or the data stored on it. The ExSafe application is hosted by a provider that has been SAS 70 certified. This issue about security in the cloud is no different to security within for instance a Wall Street Bank, it is down to the organisation ensuring that there is a commitment to security and that it is carried out by people who understand how to build applications with security at the core as opposed to some afterthought.
