Website says 15 to 21 days,so that is probably your best "rumor".

Nice find. I had a similar program on my Treo and miss it.

Would be nice to know what the 15% savings is going to be. Like as in .. What's the suggested price of this software upon release?

You could also use a GrandCentral number...it's a little limited though: link

When it's available, someone post it up. I'm a little apprehensive about putting up personal info on a site that's so plain looking.

Peace,

There are no RIM api's to record call audio. This is intentionally restricted because it is considered a personal privacy and security issue.

I'd love to see what they did, assuming they actually release something.

The only way around this (that I know of) is to initate the call server-side (like GrandCentral) and record it there.

A call recording feature would be handy for capturing conference calls or business calls, I could see it getting abused though.

I've thought about this but then why is it that other manufacturers will permit this (ie: Sony with their Ericsson w810i).

Do they open up this API for 3rd pary applications?

Seems like there is real potential for abuse.

My understanding last time I checked is that this API was not available.
