Thanks to Fabian Heuwieser, you can now download a home screen shortcut icon.

Ok, I downloaded (OTA) the home screen icon, but when I click on it, I see my activity arrows going, but ultimately nothing happens. I have to click on my browser icon to get the Tinyhomepage up.

Peace,

What OS version are you using? I should have said that the shortcut only supports OS 4.3 and above.

Kamau, I'm not sure what the problem could be. Do other shortcut icons work ok? I'm using 4.5.0.55 on my Curve with no probs.

NEW FEATURE: User image support

As well as hosting icons on your own site, I would encourage you to contribute icons for the default iconset. In either case, please get the template here:

Yea, they work fine (and I'm running .102 which I think is the latest). Like I said though, I have to go to my browser to get to them after hitting the icon. I think later though, I'll just uninstall & reinstall it to see if that fixes the problem.

I can now reproduce the same issue. I upgraded to 4.5.0.110.

Although it doesn't load the browser it does signal the browser to load the tinyhomepage.com page (hence the data traffic). If you switch to the browser from the home screen icon you will see it loading.

I will speak to the icon creator and see about a fix.
