Default Restoring a Backup- I'm AGGRAVATED-Handango

I bought the Moyo MultiAlarm when I got my pearl and bought the device protection service which allows me to reload under numerous circumstances. Well, I got a replacement Pearl and I went to my account on Handango and it gave me the "key" and I downloaded it and loaded it via desktop manager...I get a statement saying that it loaded a trial for 30 days and to buy online I'd have to enter that key...Well, I entered that key which was invalid. So, I tried to do OTA but that failed as well...So I emailed them and this is the response. Hopefully it works out but I'd hate to have to go through this again should I have to get another replacement...I had my other completely backed up...Can I get it back by restoring that program? If so, what would it be listed under?

The product you are inquiring about is currently not available on our site and cannot be purchased. This typically occurs because the developer has removed it from our site. The developer is the only one who can generate a new key for this software, so I am forwarding this message to the developer in case there is anything they can do to assist.

If you bought device protection service from Handango, at the very least they should refund that to you. Actually, they should probably refund the full purchase price if they sold you the protection plan. Handango offered it so it's their responsibility. It's up to them to deal with reliable vendors/developers if they're going to take your money and offer a guarantee for it.

I agree...I'm waiting to first see how it pans out...The MAIN reason I spent that much on an alarm was because I knew I would have it if needed.
