I did not subscribe to Facebook as a Push Service and I did not install it.
How do I get rid of it?

You really don't. Just hide the icon, or as I do I make a folder for my junk hidden icons, place them all in there, and hide the folder so my homescreen is not junked up when I show all.

If yours is the full app, it will be listed in Options > Adv > Applications and you can delete it from there or your App Loader.

Is it under options > advanced options > applications? If so, delete it.

If not, check options > Advanced options > service books and delete the service book.

When you pull the battery it will come back. Best to do as JS, and hide it.

I had Verizon resending service books, etc, today and the Facebook icon appeared on the screen. I wasn't happy. When I click the icon, it goes to a download page.

It came back. Hiding seems to be a great idea.

Yea I actually got a folder on my home screen with all the web shortcuts (like the CB.com shortcut, BBWAP, CNN, etc, etc) so I just dumped it in there. On BIS we have no way of Blocking service books :(
