Default Better video/movie player

After 0 responses on several posts, I've accepted that the default Media Player on my Bold is lacking. No big surprise...it's a relatively new thing for the screen to be nice enough to handle video. So here's my list of gripes...hopefully they'll either be addressed by an improved media player or a 3rd party app:

1. Very difficult to jump to a spot in a video. Sort of shows you how quickly one gets used to jumping tracks on a dvd rather than fast-forwarding a videotape. So, would like a button that skips forward/back by a preset amount of time with a keyboard shortcut for scanning.

2. would like a fast play/rewind sort of like modern DVD's have to visually cue to a spot on a video.

3. Would like a "view from last played" capability that is somehow stored with a video, so that I can completely close media player, and next time I open the video I have the choice to start from the beginning, or from the last viewed spot.

I'm sure there will be more as I continue to use this to see videos. The screen brightness is sensational...outperforms my iPod Touch in direct sunlight very well...

Default

Perhaps I'm the only one interested in this topic and talking to myself , but I do have two more comments...

4. Interested in being able to type in a time from which to begin playback.

That said, I did just accidentally discover something. If the playback is paused using the spacebar, and then you use to trackball to select the playback slider and choose a playback time, it's jumpy as hell and hard to scroll to a time near the middle of the video. But if you click the trackball while playback is occurring, the scrolling is much more sensible...
