Default Trouble with new Google Maps w/Latitude - 02-10-2009, 03:44 PM

Every time I try to load this app i get the error "The server returned the following error while attempting to fulfill your request: "Connection Timed Out"". I am on wifi as I don't have cell signal here at the office. Any one else fighting this? Any ideas? Have loaded probably no less than 10 of the previous versions with no problem...

I 'downgraded to 2.2.1 since that was the last version that I could use with my 8330 and the external BT receiver. Google Maps is rapidly becoming bloatware, IMHO.
