Angry Unable to delete various applications through DM - 02-10-2009, 10:48 PM

So i've got several Apps that i want to uninstall. Particularly Pocket Express, Slacker radio, ICQ, ect....When i'm in DM, i uncheck them to uninstall, and the screen "greys" out comes back and the apps are still checked to be left alone. What do i have to do to get these uninstalled?

Welcome to the forums.

Go into Options > Advanced Options > Applications, highlight the application, press the menu key and select delete.

Worked for me. For some reason Pocket express was the only app that was in bold. Had to restart the device but did the trick. Thanks

Just an idle question: what is the significance of an entry in bold in the app list?

I finally downloaded Slacker today and have decided I really don't need to have it on my phone so I went to uninstall it from the options, advanced options, applications and it doesn't appear in the list of applications on the device. I've also checked the DM and it doesn't show in the list of applications there either. What gives? I've done both warm and cold boots of the phone and nothing...the icon is still there on the phone.

I solved my problem! I reinstalled the program during the night and went to the applications area and found it...Gone!
