Arrow New Application for the Storm & Bold: BlinkWhileCall - 02-12-2009, 02:10 AM

Hello,
here I created an application specially for the Storm and for the Bold: BlinkWhileCall it is called.
Here is a link to the application.

From the description:

Everyone knows the problem: You don't want the phone to ring but still want to know when someone is calling. The internal red-LED-notification is too dark and you don't know if it's a mail, SMS or call...
Here is a solution !
The small application BlinkWhileCall blinks fast with the bright purple LED when you receive a call. If you set the device to silent, you can still get notified!

It is priced at a very lean $1.99 and you simply install it and then you don't have to look at it anymore. It does not have an icon and not a user interface.

Here is a Video of the Application via Youtube:

Vibration and Ringtone at the same time? Finally!

Good app!!!

Does it work with Curve 8900?

Do you have to open the application every time you need it or it starts when you set your profile on MUTE?

thanks

This may be a stupid question as I am still new to BBs, but why not just use the "vibrate" option on the phone?

Excellent app, but would be nice if it could turned off for some profiles (i.e. On for Quiet, and Loud, but off for Vibrate and Normal).

Believe it or not, there are situations where a vibrating Berry can be disruptive and frowned upon. This is a nice alternative as if you use a side case, the vibrate can't always be felt.
