Default Has anyone tried this mologogo yet - 10-24-2005, 01:02 AM

I am asking because it seems like if it works it would be a a slim gps program also, as long as you can view on the bb that is being tracked.

I have been using this app for a few days now works fairly well but kills my battery fairly quick. Even when I am at school and not talking on the phone at all it will die before the end of the day which is about 7:00pm so I would say about 12 hours battery life. I think if you do not check the permission for the app and only allow it to connect when you are using it that would work better.

I have used it a few times on my 7100i, works pretty good but it does take a while. I will be keeping it on there since I like the google map look.

I just got it up and running on my Blackberry 7100i works fine, although the refresh rates make for soem interesting updates while driving...

At one point I was 0.6 miles away from myself. :D

But in general its pretty damn cool

I'd like to see a manual refresh option to suppliment the every x minutes or as an option to in place of the auto refresh. This might save the battery problem as well as allowing for some privacy....

I'd also like to see their website better intigrate with it, perhaps have an option to look up a user and have it display their last location and when that was.

Very cool concept thos, would love to see where this ends up.
