Today I discovered that the BB calculator has a basic converter. You just need to input the numbers, hit the Menu button and select "To Metric" or "From Metric".

Moving to the Aftermarket Software Section.

1st Step in Troubleshooting: Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan?
2nd Step in Troubleshooting: Pull the Battery.

Is this application limited to only that one model of BB? Or could it work on the 8830?

It works on the 8830.

Suggestion - if one were to generally use only one conversion, say distance, maybe have the PROCEED at the top so you do not have to scroll down each time.

Also, I don't know about different devices, but on the 8830, to enter NUMBERS you have to press Alt-letter. You can "number lock" but maybe the program could automatically convert the keypresses to numeric?

So stay close

I think one of the conversions is off. I know that it's .621 miles to a kilometer, yet when I put it in, I don't get that.

It's for land miles.
For naval miles it's .540 to a kilometer. Did you get that result?

Thanks for this app. Seems to work fine on my Curve 8330. One request I have for your next update. Could you add inches of H2O to the pressure section. I like to be able to convert from PSI to in of H2O and vice versa.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. To convert from inches of water to PSI, multiply by 0.036. To convert from PSI to inches of water, multiply by 27.7. Inches of water is a measurement of pressure used in industry, like the water in a storage tank. For example, 3 PSI = 83.1 inH20 or 150 mmHg (which you already have in your list).

this works great but am getting wrong conversion for length. 450 meters = 1476 feet. it is calculating it as 177 feet ????? the length calculations are all wrong.

Feet to inches seems to be incorrect as well. Meters to inches as well. I have only installed the initial download (first post) so these may have been fixed...?

mm to inches seems to be off by one order of magnitude. it says 25.4 mm = 10 inches. it should be 25.4 mm = 1 inches.
