JiveTalk on Bold w/ original OS

have not been able to send files over jive talk at all. My phone is rebooting (long process) else I'd post the OS here.

I get a failed notification when I try to send a file and even shutting down jive talk and/or battery pulling the bold doesn't work.....

does anyone else experience this or know what the issue may be? figured I'd ask here before I jet over to the jive talk forums needlessly. Thanks a whole lot all.....

I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but which IM client are you trying to do a file transfer through?

Quote:

Sending a File
If you have a 4.2 OS BlackBerry device and have installed a MicroSD card, you can take advantage of BeejiveIM's file transfer capabilities to exchange files with your buddies. Currently file transfers are supported for AIM, ICQ, and MSN. (NOTE: In order for any file transfer to take place, the buddy on the other end must be using a IM client that supports the appropriate file transfer protocol for the IM service).
As noted above file transfers are not supported via Yahoo.

Ah wow Steveo, thank you. I had not seen that.

I didn't have an issue sending files over my curve when I was using yahoo with beejive, odd that this build gives this issue (non issue even)

Where did you get that snippet?

Thanks again, J
