Default Vlingo

Has anyone ever heard of or used Vlingo for their BB. I downloaded it from the blackberry website and can't get it to work. You are supposed to be able to speak your text messages into the BB so you don't get into an accident texting. I would love to get it working if anyone knows anything about it.

How did you get Vlingo to work on your Storm. I couldn't get past the initial "permissions". Thanks, Jack

I got it to work on my Curve. I love it, but think I am going to uninstall it. It uses one of my side buttons and I really like the side buttons to locking and the browser, I am online a lot. As much as I like it, it makes the browser function less usser friendly for me.

I love it, I can make a grocery list without typing! HOwever, I was wondering if it slowed down anyone elses apps on their curve. Mine bogs down now since I have loaded it?

I just started using it. It's pretty nifty but I don't like how it's grammar is not proper. If I say "I hope you're doing well" it shows "I hope your doing well." Anyone else have this issue?

yeah, it's touchy. in that case, i'll usually say "you are" to avoid as few of mistakes as possible.

i updated mine to the latest version a while ago, and noticed a HUGE improvement in overall accuracy. hopefully it continues to get better.

I downloaded it recently and love it. Only thing that I find it touchy about is that while I'm in the car, you have to have the windows all the way up and no radio on or it'll interfere. The one thing that I find odd is that if you want to reply with Vlingo to a text message you have to actually do it with the keyboard. Kind of defeats the whole purpose.

You don't have to reply with the keyboard...in the menu, you will see reply with Vlingo...it works on my 8800...

you can go into the program's options and make it so that your side key is only operable in Vlingo - you will have to open the program every time to make it work, but it does free up the side key again.
