Please Login to Remove!
i get an error saying you are currently on a service plan the does not support this aplication please contact your service provider for additional info (which i could done told me to power cycle pfft) for additional info or to upgrade your current service plan!

I am on GPRS

I am able to get there via vodafone browser. on a 8300.. but not via the app!
Please help

Do you have a BlackBerry data plan, or a generic data plan?

to be honest im not sure.. i am with vodafone UK, they have given me 500mb web access a month and email, how can i find that out? i can use MSN and can use Google Maps but not the facebook app. thanks for ur prompt response

looks like from your other post i have a generic data plan, should i enqurie to a bb data plan by the sounds of it.. im guessing this will cost more...

Generally the BB data plan is more expensive than the generic data plan. However, it is worth it as you get to use the BB and all of its features to its full potential IMO.

I am on a generic data plan and I can use the browser and download stuff from the blackberry page. However I am not able to access mobile.blackberry.com, cant use the native chat client and dont get push mail. Dont ask me how i have the ability to DL cause I dont know. It just happened. The strange thing is. my provider doesnt even offer blackberry service. ..

Called Vodafone, they had stuffed something up at there end.

Fixed now. wouldtn tell me what was wrong.

First of i had lowercase gprs, changed something GPRS was now shown on the screen. all now working!

it gets better, 4 phone calls to get my blackberry activated - useless i say!
They gave me 10 quid credit after saying that when i first called up they would give me 3 months free, 2nd call same story, third call you cant have that, 4th call im not happy that i was told i could have 3 months free and now cant, so they gave me 1 month free.
