Default Facebook for Blackberry notifications

Please Login to Remove!

When I get notifications on the Facebook app of my 9530 and access them, the notifications are still new when I visit the either Facebook mobile site or the full site.

It seems like there should be a "mark read on server" sort of option. Is anyone aware of such a setting?

Hmmm...no, that doesn't do anything. I turned it off, but I'm not getting quite as many notifications in my e-mail now, which is good, because the FB notifications still show up on my 9530. However, these are still new notifications when I hit the website, mobile or not.

I guess there would have to be another task by the Facebook server, but the logic is escaping me right now.

If you visit m.facebook.com from you BB, scroll down to the bottom of the Home page, and you'll see the link to DL the Facebook app for the BB.
