Maybe I am missing something here but what is the point in this app? I installed it and it appears to be nothing more than a glorified shortcut app to Google mobile sites. And it comes in at a hefty size too (just under 400kb)!

Go and read the features and decide for yourself if that is all that it would offer you. If so, skip it. If the rest of what it does appeals to you then install it. Easy.

did the entire suite get updated? Like sync? Or just the (central) mobile app? I prefer the original google mobile updater to be honest.

Love the 9000!! It's everything I wanted (minus enough ON BOARD memory)!!

I gotta admit the 'Voice Search' functionality is pretty nice.

So, can we delete the old "Google Map" application that we downloaded months back or do we need to keep it for the "map" selection in this application?

Thanks,

Tony

I'm on BES and I'm getting hung on being prompted for permisions to access radio information when using the voice search feature. I hold down the "talk" button and it prompts me for permisions, I select "Allow" and then it just hangs the app there. :( Eventually it times out.

Looks like they have some bugs t workout for voice and BES with IT policys that only allow default permisions for "prompt".
