Question ISO Full Calendar OTA Sync solution - 03-26-2009, 02:31 PM

All,

I have recently switched from being a BES user to a BIS user. As such, I'm looking for a solution to replace the full calendar OTA sync that I've lost with the switch. I've searched (what seems like endlessly) and tried several solutions, however they all either have massive bugs, or only sync OTA a fixed window of the BB calendar (e.g. One month back and 6 months forward.)

I'd like to try to avoid a Hosted BES solution as its rather expensive. Does anyone know of a solution that will allow full calendar OTA sync with either Outlook/Evolution or a web calendar?

Thanks!

It would be more efficient if you posted what you've tried and found lacking...waste of time for folks to post suggestions that you have already investigated.

If you haven't tried it yet, you can look into BBerrysync - OTA Sync.

Have you tried a combination of Calgoo and Google Sync? I'm finding it works great (in my case Calgoo is syncing gCal to iCal and Entourage on my Mac but it supports Outlook I believe). Calgoo Calendar is great for eliminating duplicates too.

Thanks all... I think I'll give Thinkpost a whirl... Hopefully it sync's more than just 6 months!

Update: I've just learned that this sliding sync window (1 month prior/6 months in the future) is a limitation set by Rim. Makes sense - as an unlimited window of time would mimic the features of a BES.
