Sorry but can u give those not in the know what this app is good for or what it does?

Shazam is like Song ID for you Verizon users out there. You hear a song playing on the radio, in the car, anywhere but you don't know the name so you put the phone by the radio and it listens to the song then tells you what song it is. Very usefull.

Shazam is awesome. tried it on iPhone and Android, coming to BB, awesome!

It will most likely be free. It provides links to paid sites for a cut. This is already available for the G1 and Iphone/ipod touch.
