Default New Media Player - 03-28-2009, 02:29 AM

Hi, I'm curious if there's an aftermarket media player for the Blackberry (Currently using the bold). I just find the current media player very bulky and slow.

Mainly I don't like the fact that when browsing songs you can only show a few on the screen (5 songs) at once before having to scroll up/down. I prefer something that didn't take up lots of screen space and just show all the songs.

Also when watching movies, I find that it freezes sometimes (not sure if it's just me and the program i use to convert, Handbrake)

Anyways, any suggestions?

Try Sling, Miutunes or Flipside. You may get hooked with one

I thought it was free, it was the radio part they charged you for?

For the first time I feel the future might hold something different for me. It's possible I'm fooling myself but I'm willing to take the risk.

XPlayer is free. It costs only if you want to use the Internet Radio feature.
