Berry Weather IMHO the best weather program out there. Great visuals, small footprint, multiple locations, FAST, multiple views. It is not free but most good things are not. There is a free 3 day trial m.bellshare.com **Price is now $10.00usd** |
Wirelessly posted (8100™) 10 bucks? Naaà not for me..... |
BBWeather does exactly what I need. |
$10 too much |
I see there a 50 free copies going to crackberry users |
$10 usd? How does one even buy a used app? *audience laughs* But in all seriousness I was impressed. It looks nice, plays nice and works nice. That's all that matters to me when it comes to apps. Head on over to crackberry and post a comment for the drawing of 50 free copies of berryweather. |
Great Weather App I too am looking for every chance to save money or get a good free app, but you know, lets give credit where credit is due. I for one don't mind providing a little support to a company giving the current economy a run for it. This weather app is bar none the best I have seen on my Bold. It works great, has great features and so far has been quite accurate. I for one don't mind spending a few bucks here or there when I come across a great app and this one is definitely one of them. Bought it this evening. Nice job Bellshare! This is finally the first weather app for my blackberry that gives my wife's iphone a run for the money...! Cheers |
I got my free trial earlier today, and bought the activation code within a couple hours. It's really nice on the eyes, and I really love the fact that I can put my own wallpaper behind it. |
I use YWeather! which is free and have been really happy with it. You can also get weather through Viigo. However, the best and most accurate way to get weather forecasts (IMO) is to just bookmark the web page for your location in Weather.gov. With the 3G speed it's really fast and easy to access. |
Downloaded the trial and gladly paid for an activation code a few hours later. I highly recommend this weather app... The only thing at the moment which it does not do is radar and I would not be surprised to see that happen in an update later down the road. Also has alerts for weather situations which has been working flawless for me the last two days with the weather in my area. |
I currently use WeatherEye which is a free app and I am very happy with it, only issue I have is that you can only setup 1 city. I will try out Berry Weather, is there an OTA download |

nice but - no radar? |
i just downloaded the software, yes it is very nice, but $10 why. $1.99 and you will sell a hell of alot more then at the current $10 tag. is it a hog on memory? i will decide after te 3 days, BBF, give us some loving with free berry weather codes. |
the temp is off - this app shows the wrong temp for my city - :( |

Why would I use this over BBWeather? I can put in ZIP codes and make multiple profiles for diff cities. Also, it provides both current conditions and up to 10 day forcasts OTA Link : http://www.tateu.net/software/bb.php?f=BBWeather Edit: Free too. Screw $10 apps when there's a great free alternative with little to no memory footprint |
Seems like crap compared to iPhone's weather app :/ |
