Default Loving Shazam.. what about other apps? Storm compatible apps?

Please Login to Remove!

I never thought we'd get a Blackberry version of Shazam. Finally it's here and I'm loving it a lot. No problems with it once I followed these directions:

Shazam-SETUP-Error#1204

and I went in and disabled compatibility.

What else have you found in the App Store that you're loving?

I also am a bit confused about how you tell whether an app in the store is Storm compatible. For example, looking at Shazam's description, I couldn't tell if it would work on the Storm or not.

Yes, I'm running it. I was lucky enough to be online when the app store launched. It was a link under music and I downloaded it. The next day they removed the link because of the software problems. I disabled compatibility and it worked. I found the link online in the app store are of the blackberry site, but it was removed now I see it's back up. Shazaming a song works exactly like it does on the iPhone, but the other icons on the screen for forwarding, deleting, etc are not working. My guess is they are fixing it so they can relaunch and everything will work. I'm very very pleased though; the copy I downloaded at least song id works just fine. Not perfect, because of the program icons that don't work, but good enough till the updated version is released. I've already used it about 15 times in the last few days.

The link is still in the store here:
BlackBerry - Featured Apps

Good luck,
Mark

Thanks for the info.

I guess if they had it up for the Storm at one point it will be out again.
