Guys,

At our company we're about to distribute BB's (7100v and 7290) to users. Personally I have the 7290 and to cover one if its lacks, I've installed BBLight to turn on the backlight as soon as I touch any of the keys. This function is default on the 7100v, but not on the 7290.

Now I've spoken with my boss to get it so that when those 7290's are installed by our supportpeople, that they also install and setup BBLight on those handhelds, ready for the user to use.

But my boss doesn't want this application to be installed because he's unsure about it. His doubts are:
- is it still under development (so if in a few years we choose another type of BB instead of the 7290, can we still use it?). Does someone support it?
- what if we have questions about it, who do we contact?
- are we free to use BBLight on our BB's or do we have to pay for the use of it? Do we need a license?

Hope you guys can give me answers to the questions above. Maybe even help me with some arguments for me to hold against my boss to persuade him?
