Default games for the 9000? - 05-04-2009, 07:26 AM

Are there any games for the 9000?

Even though RIM is attracting the public sector more to their devices they still don't have one key feature that Apple does; a online store were you can buy applications and games and download them to your phone.

When I travel on the train I like to be doing something other than sleeping or reading the news paper everyday and I hate having to carry another device for that such as my notebook or my Nintendo DS, it would be nice to see RIM take things to the next level and they could really do something now that the market is bad as there are lot of J2E developers who are looking for work, they could be making money, hand over fist, right now with putting up a service like Apple has and coming out interesting games and applications.

bplay.com - dozens of outstanding games
mobile.blackberry.com

I guess you missed the launch of "BlackBerry Applications World" a couple of weeks ago. It's an online store where you can buy applications and games.

Public Sector meaning government customers?

I guess you missed the news when RIM reported a profitable Q1 because they are winning over more of the public with thier devices.

Not even according to the Canadian Government..

Guide to the Public Sector of Canada: Product main page

"The public sector includes all government controlled entities such as ministries, departments, funds, organizations, and business enterprises which political authorities at all levels use to implement their social and economic policies." Not all corporations.
